Class Compute.Instances.Start

    • Constructor Detail

      • Start

        protected Start(String project,
                        String zone,
                        String instance)
        Starts an instance that was stopped using the instances().stop method. For more information, see Restart an instance. Create a request for the method "instances.start". This request holds the parameters needed by the the compute server. After setting any optional parameters, call the AbstractGoogleClientRequest.execute() method to invoke the remote operation.

        Compute.initialize(com.google.api.client.googleapis.services.AbstractGoogleClientRequest) must be called to initialize this instance immediately after invoking the constructor.

        Parameters:
        project - Project ID for this request.
        zone - The name of the zone for this request.
        instance - Name of the instance resource to start.
        Since:
        1.13
    • Method Detail

      • getProject

        public String getProject()
        Project ID for this request.
      • getZone

        public String getZone()
        The name of the zone for this request.
      • getInstance

        public String getInstance()
        Name of the instance resource to start.
      • getRequestId

        public String getRequestId()
        An optional request ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore the request if it has already been completed. For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments. The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).
      • setRequestId

        public Compute.Instances.Start setRequestId(String requestId)
