POJava DateTime is a simple, light-weight Java-based API for parsing and manipulating dates. It parses dates from most languages and formats out of the box without having to specify which format is expected. Defaults such as time zones, and whether to interpret an internationally ambiguous date like "03/06/2014" as DMY order or MDY order are inferred by system time zone and locale and stored in a default config object that can be replaced or overridden. JavaUtil is a utility library to speed the development of Java software. We developed it over multiple years during our internal development efforts, and it has reached a point of stability where we have decided to make it available to the outside world. The JavaUtil package aims to fill in the gaps of the Apache Commons and similar utility libraries out there. Features include convenience classes for string, collections, arrays, dates, iterators, colors, logging, unit testing, a little bit of basic statistics, database queries, caching and more.

Box is an add-on framework for Java EE applications that performs asynchronous gathering of source data with subsequent processing or transformation of that data into output JSON documents and exposing those documents through a web API. Box excels at maintaining existing documents including keeping them up-to-date in real time and deleting them when required. Box supports aggregating data from multiple sources as well as splitting data into multiple documents. How documents are processed is left up to each application. The web api makes the documents available by ID or by harvesting all documents. Harvests can be filtered using facets and documents can be pared down by requesting only needed fields.
